I understood that I would need to learn how to combine my unsustainable behaviors if I wanted to start a family. I inquired about working remotely at my 9 to 5 job, but I was told no.

For my consulting employment, I attempted to negotiate a better salary but was unsuccessful. When I mentioned doing many jobs online one day, my registered dietitian coworkers approached me and asked if I could help them. To teach my colleagues how to make money, I developed an online course and coaching program. Eventually, I converted my physical consulting practice into a virtual practice.

I can now make my schedule and live my life how I choose. I may take pleasure in spending time with my family, helping the community, and engaging in a variety of pastimes, such as hiking, running, creating art, and traveling. I think it's crucial to set an example of time freedom.

How can you live a life of time freedom?

Time freedom is linked to how you want to spend your life, which is why I advise considering these issues. Otherwise, I think most of us go about our regular lives without considering time to be a system we can manage. As a business owner, consider the kind of life you desire. I frequently make a vision board to help me clarify my objectives and move toward them. My family and I have a written plan for the life I want to lead, and I respect that plan with the way I manage my time every day.

To help me organize my days, I utilize time blocking, the Pareto principle, a digital schedule, and a project management application. I also advise picking a theme for every day of the week so that you may concentrate on particular activities. For instance, Mondays might be for managing, Tuesdays might be for clients, Wednesdays might be for projects, Thursdays might be for networking, and Fridays might be for pleasure. The secret is to modify your timetable every three months as your company's requirements shift.

This day can also be used to write, plan, podcast, or create content for social media. I advise using an editorial calendar and a quarter's worth of planning.

Wednesday: You could now concentrate on business development. Maybe you could work on assignments for the first half of the day. This is the strategy I employed in my own company, and this past year we concentrated on improving programs, so I took the time to rebuild and update my programming. I spent the second half of the day taking care of myself.

Thursday: If you concentrate on making contacts, you can spend the first half of the day reaching out to colleagues, past clients, or potential business partners. The second half of the day can be used for sales-related activities, such as sales calls or performance reviews of your sales associates and affiliates.

• Maybe you should use Fridays as "catch-up" days. This day is for finishing any unfinished business from the previous week.
